This year I actually wanted to celebrate my birthday because I have truly transformed into a stronger woman. I have worked diligently to heal from my past and that is not an easy feat . However, I am most grateful to share my life with my amazing son.

Any single parent who works two jobs and is a graduate student does not have the easiest schedule. In my son’s one year of life, he has brought out a strength in me that I didn’t know existed and that alone has changed my life for the better.

This year we celebrated at the Great Wolf Lodge and I had no idea what to expect.  I had never been but I definitely found a great deal. Prices are much cheaper in the middle of the week and I took full advantage of the Winter Discount. We got the Whirlpool Suite,access to the awesome water park and a host of holiday activities. I especially enjoyed having an assistant that was only one text away!

The indoor water park was a special treat because both of us love the water. However my favorite part was the iconic water park rest.

Making memories with my son was the ultimate gift and we’ll definitely be back for another visit.
